This position will assist with carrying out the periodic review and assessment of the ZEV regulation and support activities including a variety of activities related to supporting the advancement of fuel cell and battery electric vehicles, fueling infrastructure and electric drive vehicle deployments. The position will develop professional relationships with technology providers, auto manufacturers and researchers in order to keep current on technology status, development and deployment. The position will be responsible for reporting on vehicle and infrastructure technology status and the interactions of each on the market development for ZEVs. Activities will include participating in regulatory status reviews, regulatory amendments processes, infrastructure development and periodic reports to the Board. Specifically, this position will gather, tabulate, and analyze information and data related to electric vehicle market assessments and reports and surveys of vehicle usage patterns of fueling infrastructure. In addition, this position participates in the review of well-to-wheel greenhouse gas and criteria emission studies of electric drive powertrains.
