Drive Forward Truck Forum – ZEV Infrastructure Meeting 10
The California Air Resources Board invites you to the March Drive Forward Truck Forum Infrastructure Workgroup. At this workgroup meeting, we will explore the potential of fuel cell refuse trucks using renewable hydrogen. Close to 8,000 of the 13,000 refuse trucks operating in California today run on natural gas, and many of those fleets use renewable natural gas sourced from landfill- or digester-sourced biomethane. Hydrogen powered fuel cell refuse trucks, once available, present a sustainable pathway to zero-emission for refuse and recycling fleets who want to produce their own fuel. At this meeting, panelists and invited guests will explore this potential from all sides – renewable hydrogen production, vehicle technology development and fleet adoption.
The meeting will be held via Zoom.
