CHS Hydrogen Safety Challenge for Students Launches February 2

Hydrogen Safety Challenge for Students — Starting February 2nd

Get ready for the Hydrogen Safety Challenge for Students. This worldwide challenge is for students enrolled in a college, university, technical school, pre-apprenticeship, or apprenticeship program. As part of CHS’s workforce development efforts, the challenge helps prepare the next generation of hydrogen professionals for safe and successful careers.

 Students will:

  • Apply hydrogen safety principles to realistic system designs
  • Analyze real hydrogen incidents and lessons learned
  • Build job-ready skills aligned with industry expectations

For faculty, this is a meaningful way to support workforce readiness while helping students develop portfolio-ready work and gain visibility with future employers. Winning teams will be recognized at the April CHS Member Meeting and featured across CHS channels, with digital badges and certificates for student participants.

Help CHS strengthen the hydrogen safety workforce by sharing this opportunity with your alma maters, students, and/or career boards.
