The California Fuel Cell Partnership and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) have teamed up to present a developed national hydrogen safety training resource for emergency responders at the 2015 FireShows West at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on October 8, 2015 from 1:00pm – 3:30pm. Jennifer Hamilton will deliver a course which is a hybrid of the national resource and the California Fuel Cell Partnership’s information. This will serve as both an informative course on the status of hydrogen and fuel cell vehicle deployment in California, properties and safety of hydrogen, vehicle and fueling station safety and response considerations and recommendations, as well as an orientation to potential users of the national resource (train the trainer). CaFCP will have the all new Toyota Mirai on display and staff will be on hand to answers questions.
