IPHE Workshop: The Role of Cities in Addressing New Energy Systems

Overview:

Cities and other jurisdictions of government are on the front lines of deploying integrated, scalable technologies that support the transition to sustainable energy systems. This event brings together leading industry, academic, and civil society organizations together with government representatives from all jurisdictions to explore implementation issues and strategies for promoting hydrogen and fuel cell technologies to help address energy and environmental goals.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Identification of the issues confronted by cities, and their responses, while integrating sustainable energy technologies into their energy systems;
  • Identification of opportunities and the role of governments to deploy HFCs to support a robust clean energy system;
  • Information on best practices from cities and communities on deployment of clean energy technologies and identification of potential opportunities for HFC technologies; and
  • Compendium of models of support for initial infrastructure development and for sustaining support in the longer-term.

Space is limited and advanced registration is required.
