The ZEV Infrastructure Permitting and Development Specialist will receive direct supervision from the Assistant Deputy Director as well as direction and oversight from the Deputy Director. The Specialist will work independently and with the ZEV team to promote and achieve the goals of the ZEV program and GO-Biz.  This position may include approximately 10-15% travel.

As a representative of the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, the ZEV Infrastructure Permitting and Development Specialist plays a key government relations role. The Specialist engages with local governments and the private sector to solve problems and rapidly deploy zero-emission infrastructure to meet the needs of the State’s growing ZEV market. The Specialist is a member of a small and nimble team that leads the ZEV Market Development Strategy for the State and has the opportunity to make a direct impact in getting projects in the ground, leading to job creation, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving air quality and public health. The Specialist interacts with a broad interagency team, including the State leads on zero-emission vehicles, infrastructure, and workforce. Remote work is available.
