The California Fuel Cell Partnership is a sponsor. This dedicated renewables to hydrogen workshop brings experts together to consider the economics and the market opportunities, and identify important projects whose development have the potential to “move the needle” for renewable hydrogen.
Stakeholders will identify the technical and market challenges, planning needs and project opportunities for testing the technical and market feasibility of hydrogen production from renewable energy sources, including biogas and electrolysis.
The goal is to provide a robust set of solutions, possible demonstrations and the identification of potential policy changes to accelerate the development of affordable renewable hydrogen production facilities. Collaborate with Sandia National Labs and NRELNational Renewable Energy Lab to build on their analysis. Identify key CHBC messages and CHBC activities that can support the outcomes, including a renewables to hydrogen fact sheet and assistance in project development.
