SunLine Grand Opening of New Administration Facility

SunLine Transit will host a grand opening ceremony of its new administrative facility on Wednesday, January 28 at 9am.
SunLine is one of the few transit agencies in the United States - and one of two in California - that operates fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs).  SunLine currently has four FCEBs in daily service. It was the first transit agency in the country to switch all of its fleet to CNG compressed natural gas(natural gas) in 1994.
California has 16 fuel cell electric busses providing service to transit customers. While SunLine is recognized as a leader in fuel cell technology, it hopes to become a center of excellence for FCEBs, much like it did 20 years ago with CNGCompressed Natural Gas.
