Public may offer comments on agreement with ports
The South Coast Air Quality Management District and the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles are hosting a virtual meeting Thursday, May 14, at 4 p.m. to discuss the draft amendment to the Cooperative Agreement between the AQMD and the ports.
Information on joining the meeting via Zoom and telephone is available on the AQMD website – Spanish translation for the webinar will also be available. Meeting materials including the draft amendment and meeting presentation may also be downloaded there.
The Cooperative Agreement is an enforceable contract that focuses on planning and implementation of zero-emission port infrastructure. The purpose of this meeting is for the public to offer comments on a draft amendment to complement the current agreement, enacted in December 2025.
More information can be found at the AQMD website’s Cooperative Agreement page.
