Job Description: The Energy Systems Division (ES) at Argonne National Laboratory conducts applied research to develop sustainable innovative technologies to improve the efficiency of resource and energy utilization; to minimize our dependence on imported energy; and to enhance our national security.
You are invited to apply for a Postdoctoral Appointment with the ES division. In this role, you will:

Develop life cycle analysis and techno-economic models to evaluate hydrogen deployment options for various hydrogen and fuel cell pathways for various transportation and industrial applications.

Conduct and document technical, environmental and economic analysis of new and emerging hydrogen technologies and markets.
Position Requirements
We expect you to have good knowledge of and skills in:

Hydrogen production and delivery pathways and technologies

Fuel cell applications and technologies

Energy systems, technologies, energy efficiency, and environmental impacts of alternative systems

Engineering concepts and procedures

Quantitative skills to analyze a large quantity of data

Computer software such as Excel and programming in different software languages

Using computer algorithm development methodologies

Oral and written communications and presentations

Working in a team environment
