On July 31st, 2024, the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) awarded the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2), led by Battelle, with $30 million of federal funding to begin Phase 1 of the project plan.
