Zero-C Hydrogen in a Circular Carbon Economy

THURSDAY, AUGUST 26, 2021 | 9:00AM (EASTERN). The Circular Carbon Economy project is a joint initiative between Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy and the Global CCS Institute. The multi-year project explores options to reduce, reuse, recycle, and remove CO2 emissions from the global energy economy and global ecosystems. The goal is to provide decision makers (including policymakers, investors, and civil society) quantitative understanding of options that can accelerate global decarbonization, reduce risks, and create economic growth.

CHBC at ACT Expo for the Hydrogen – It Really Does Work Today! Workshop

MONDAY, AUGUST 30 AT 3:00PM (PACIFIC). The California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) is hosting a two-hour workshop in conjunction with the ACT Expo in Long Beach on August 30, 2021. This workshop will cover hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks. As fleet operators in California and beyond begin to consider adopting zero-emission technologies in their fleets, careful consideration of capabilities and requirements is needed to determine if the technology is suited to application duty-cycles, location, and use.

CARB Webinar - Draft Cap-and-Trade Auction Proceeds Fourth Investment Plan

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 AT 2:30PM (PACIFIC). The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in virtual public workshop to discuss the Draft Cap-and-Trade Auction Proceeds Fourth Investment Plan (Fourth Investment Plan). Every three years, the Department of Finance, in consultation with CARB and other State agencies, submits an Investment Plan to the Legislature to guide the investment of Cap-and-Trade auction proceeds. The Fourth Investment Plan will cover Fiscal Years 2022-23 through 2024-25 and is due to the Legislature in January 2022.

Pacific Fuels & Convenience Summit

SEPTEMBER 7-10, 2021. 2021 Pacific Fuels & Convinience Summit, in San Diego, CA. Join Keith Malone and staff on Wednesday, September 8 during the "Fuels of the Future: Taking Advantage of Opportunities in an Evolving Market" Panel with CaFCP members. As of July 1, California has 48 light-duty hydrogen stations that are open to passenger car drivers, in addition to two stations serving heavy-duty trucks in Southern California.  More than 100 stations – car, bus and truck – are in development and expected to open over the next several years.
