The Energy Department's Fuel Cell Technologies Office (FCTO) announces the launch of a new, free, online national hydrogen safety training resource for emergency responders. Developed by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the California Fuel Cell Partnership, the resource provides a single repository of credible and reliable information related to hydrogen and fuel cells that is current and accurate and eliminates duplicative efforts among various training programs.

CaFCP will have a fuel cell electric vehicle at the Woodside/Portola Valley's Earth Day Fair. This year's event will have educational and interactive activities throughout the day. Exhibitors will have engaging activities for attendees to promote sustainability and what Woodside and Portola Valley residents can do to live more sustainable. In response to climate change and the need to reduce carbon emissions, this year's theme will be focused on reducing our carbon footprint.
The event is free to the public.

The Los Angeles County Science & Engineering Fair provides a yearly setting for middle and high school students to show off their investigative skills and creativity to compete for medals, special awards and scholarships. Students not only receive recognition for their projects but the Science Fair nurtures student interest in various scientific and engineering fields.

CaFCP will participate in Carthay Circle's second Science Fair and first as an Environmental Studies Magnet School (Grades K - 5).
Science projects will be on display from all classrooms. Educational and interactive events will be held during the day.
Garden tours - see the Carthay garden, chickens and Aquaponics System! Fun for all the Family! Three food trucks.
The event is free to the public.

SunLine Transit will host a grand opening ceremony of its new administrative facility on Wednesday, January 28 at 9am. 
SunLine is one of the few transit agencies in the United States - and one of two in California - that operates fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs).  SunLine currently has four FCEBs in daily service. It was the first transit agency in the country to switch all of its fleet to CNG compressed natural gas(natural gas) in 1994.

In California, 16 fuel cell buses are in operation every day, demonstrating their value and benefit. With more than 15 years of FCEBFuel Cell Electric Bus experience in the Golden State, policy makers can learn how these zero-emission buses contribute to air quality, help reduce our dependence on foreign oil and promote domestic fuels and provide strong performance.
