Public Workshop - Fuels and Infrastructure for a Carbon Neutral Economy

WEDNESDAY, JULY 15TH FROM 9:30AM TO 3:00PM PT.

Meeting Goals: In order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045, California must reduce and replace fossil fuel consumption while meeting energy needs. Hear from

experts and the public on the transition to low carbon fuels across all sectors and considerations for associated infrastructure to achieve the State’s goal of carbon

neutrality.

Hydrogen: The Next Building Block for the Net-Zero Economy Pathways to Resilience: Infrastructure 4.0 - A Guidehouse Webinar Series

THURSDAY, JULY 9 AT 10:00AM PT. 2050 targets for net-zero emissions have experienced a meteoric rise as carbon policies move to the top of policy agendas. Stakeholders are now wondering whether these targets can be reached with electrons alone, or if we need molecules too. The renewables transition is making great strides, but the path from 50% decarbonization targets to full decarbonization will require a leap in terms of how we think about delivering energy.

Mission Hydrogen GmbH How to Optimize Hydrogen Refueling Stations - Part 2

WEDNESDAY, JULY 15 AT 8:00AM PT. Steve Mathison will introduce concepts to lower the cost of hydrogen fueling by making improvements to the existing SAE J2601 protocols and by utilizing completely new protocol approaches which can facilitate customer acceptable fueling at warmer hydrogen pre-cooling temperatures. These methods would reduce the cost of chillers at the station, reduce energy consumption, and increase station reliability without sacrificing fueling performance.

Mission Hydrogen GmbH Opportunities and Activities in Hydrogen Ports and Maritime

WEDNESDAY, JULY 8 AT 8:00AM PT. Port authorities and industry leaders from two continents will discuss the activities of hydrogen and fuel cells in ports and maritime. During the webinar, Den Helder will outline port activities and look at wider co-operation across the North Sea. The webinar will also feature a presentation by PowerCell on the hydrogen fuel cell port and maritime activities in Scandinavia. To end, a presentation on the fuel cell port equipment and heavy-duty trucks being deployed in the Port of Los Angeles.
